as no adequate language with which to "plainly" describe the universe would be invented
in his lifetime. If Scientific language possesses the most accurate metaphors, it stands to
reason that The Modern Jesus will likely be a "Great Genius" (See Dolores Cannon's
Conversations with Nostradamus) capable of exceptional mental feats such as inventing
miraculous technology or explaining that the "End of the World" is just a quasi-periodic
Astro-Quantum Physics Event that has happened to varying degrees in the past. This can
be verified by comparing geologic pole flips, the lateral orbit of our solar system through
the galactic plane and novelty cycles such as Time Wave Zero by Terence McKenna and
Stanford University's projected technological graph which predicts eighteen disruptive
inventions around 2011. These mental abilities may be the fruit by which he is judged.
Intelligent Design, stripped of political baggage, is likely the universal belief system
Jesus would promote and expound. Why? It's a good foundation but also free to evolve
beyond primitive notions of Genesis and primordial soups. Modern Jesus may dismiss
Adam and Eve as well as Big Bang. He may regard the few Christian attempts at bridge
building as infantile and laughable but nonetheless noble.
ID should encompass creation at every scale from subquantum to metagalactic and then
show how all the entities on the various scales are driven by a common algorithm or Holy
Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the transformative urge science is trying to define as "The New
Second Law." The New Second Law tries to reconcile old ideas about entropy with the
new understanding that at the most fundamental level, effectively the Zero Point
Energy/Manifold, all is one (monotheism) and there are ultimately no closed systems.
There is too much observed creation and emergent behavior maintained in the complexity
of that creation to conclude in a heat death.
The New Second Law is at the heart of a legitimate, rigorous ID as a fundamental
causality in the equation and statistical constant for an overhauled physics paradigm. Our
view of what decay and equilibrium actually are, in light of our newfound understanding
