Testing the "Good News" via the "Authority of the first beast" – PART 2
My advent is prophesied to coincide with what CNN thrives on. Even five years ago the
conflict wasn't enough to immanentize the eschaton, but today, despite the blatantly
apocalyptic programming, people may be more inclined to let their curiosity concerning
my claims overtake the knee-jerk reaction to my title(s).
This is part 2 because about 5 years ago I went on a self-promotion rampage. An
experiment from my perspective and an outrage or joke for everyone else...except for
about 1% of the thousands of people in dozens of forums who were exposed as you are
now. I learned a lot about various affiliations of people then. I'm interested to see my
effect here now. What I learned most was that I have no idea who "my people" are. I only
know who they aren't. To prove my divinity, some Christians demanded that I display
some metaphysical feat; one wanted me to tell him what sequence of heads/tails he had
laid out, another wanted me to tell him how many hairs were on his head, I replied,
"...before or after you're done verifying my answer?"
It's natural to want to see a miracle performed before your very eyes. It means you can
finally proceed to believe any enchanted BS you want.
You demand a miracle from one who sees nothing but miracles, but I understand the
significance of breaking the (human conceived) laws of physics. My predecessor was
appropriately versed in the biological, as that is what there was to work with so...my
miracles will be of a technological nature and consequently more disruptive to the
establishment because of the modern miracle of mass production. There's a great book
called The Children of Ezekiel by Michael Lieb that deals with this very subject – how
certain religious zealots envision God's power and wrath as having technological
superiority.
The authority I must exercise first is the clutter of this major network hub called
myspace. The only two variables in this experiment are my sincerity and your curiosity. I
predict 1-3% of the folks who come across this will go all the way to checking out the
Current POD, site, and book. Why would one bother? They recognize something in me
they like and/or they think they can benefit from my work, and that's cool. The majority
of people, religious or not, are happy with what gets them through the day and my
answers are to questions they never thought to ask anyway.
So the question is, can 1-3% of "my people" turn on enough other social hubs, in cyber or
real space, to create a tipping point? To me, an ideal tipping point would be the
fulfillment of the first miracle, the prototyping of a free energy device. The seed capital
for this prototype would come from book sale royalties. This would show that my
