Pets (cat and dogs) enjoy being petted/scratched/groomed but sometimes they have
sensitive areas. Sometimes like us, they can’t reach with their own limbs an itch.
Sometimes the pets are too lazy, and some owners are as well.
Many pets are left home alone all day with no human to provide useful if not loving
touch.
Grooming not only makes the pet feel good, it keeps fur clean and removes loose fur that
would otherwise get on clothing and furniture and collect into bunnies around the
baseboard.
What if a pet could choose when it wanted to be groomed and for how long – as well as
where – independent of human presence or effort? What if a pet could decide how much
pressure is applied to its sensitive areas or itch?
Pets naturally brush up against objects to scratch an itch. The Robo-Groomer is an object
designed specifically for that purpose – and more.
The Robo-Groomer is a rotating vertical axis brush mounted to a wide base that is
stabilized by being placed in the 90 degree corner of a room. The Robo-Groomer
resembles the beater bar/ brush of a vacuum cleaner, mounted upright. A built-in comb
between bristle bundles removes fur, maintaining the brush’s effectiveness. Fur is
collected in a compartment that covers 1/3 rd of the brush circumference for convenient
disposal.
