Comment: You will be prompted to stop the entire cluster.
Response: The list of data source templates will become editable.
4 In the list of data source templates, click on the one you want to edit.
Response: The Data Source Template dialog is displayed.
5 Modify the name for your new data source template.
6 Modify the XML settings to correspond to your intended data source and driver. You
can copy/paste information in the edit field.
7 Click Save.
Response: The dialog closes and your data source template is updated in the list.
8 Click the Done button on the toolbar.
9 Click Start Cluster on the toolbar to restart the cluster.
9.17.3 Enabling/Disabling a Data Source Template
For a data source template to become available in the Information Designer, it must be
enabled from the TIBCO Spotfire Configuration Console. For each data source
template in the list, there is a check box that states whether the template is active or
not.
To enable/disable a data source template:
1 Start the TIBCO Spotfire Configuration Console.
2 Go to the Data Source Templates tab.
3 Click the Edit button on the toolbar.

4 In the list of data source templates, find the one you want to enable/disable.
5 Select the check box on the corresponding row to enable the data source template, or
deselect the check box to disable the data source template.
6 Click the Done button on the toolbar.
Comment: If you have added a data source template that does not use the pre-installed
DataDirect driver, you must manually install this on every Spotfire Server
in the cluster before you restart the cluster. Download the appropriate
driver jar file and place it in the /tomcat/
webapps/spotfire/WEB-INF/lib folder of every server.
