DNS servers
DNS cache TTL (ms)
Specifies the IP addresses DNS servers associated
with your Windows Domain. Separate multiple servers
with commas.
Example: 192.168.1.1,192.168.1.2
Specifies how long name server lookups should be
cached. If not set, defaults are used.
To configure each Spotfire Server, you must edit the file web.xml in the folder
tomcat/webapps/spotfire/WEB-INF on each Spotfire Server.
This is an xml file that you can edit in a text or xml editor, and each parameter is set
like this:
parameter.name
parameter.value

jespa.service.password
jespa.encrypted.service.passw

jespa.localhost.netbios.name
jespa.dns.domain
jespa.resolve.dns.domain
jespa.ad.site
jespa.dns.servers
jespa.dns.cache.ttl
Corresponds to the Service account name parameter
as specified above.
Corresponds to the Service password parameter as
specified above.
Specifies the encrypted Service password. See below
for instructions on how to set this parameter.
Specifies the NETBIOS version of the Service acount
name. If this is not set, a default name based on the
Service account name is used.
Example: spotfiresrv1
Note: This name may not exceed 15 characters.
Corresponds to the DNS domain parameter as
specified above.
Corresponds to the Resolve DNS domain parameter
as specified above.
Corresponds to the AD site parameter as specified
above.
Corresponds to the DNS servers parameter as
specified above.
Corresponds to the NS cache TTL (ms) parameter as
specified above.
