Application in the amount of $5 Million to
the State of California Department of
Parks and Recreation for Round II of the
Proposition 84 Grant program for the
Renovation of Ramsay Park
AGENDA ITEM: June 14, 2011 City Council
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt a resolution approving
the filing of a grant application in the amount of $5 Million for the
renovation of Ramsay Park with the State of California Department of
Parks and Recreation and authorize the City Manager to sign all
documents associated with this grant application. Funding sought is
through the Safe Drinking Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control,
River and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2006 administered by the
State of California Department of Parks and Recreation under
Proposition 84.
