F. High-efficiency Washing Machine Rebate Programs
The City initiated a high-efficiency clothes washer rebate program in 2001 and provides a $100 rebate
for customers who purchase a high efficiency washer. The City continues to promote this program in
both newsprint and City newsletters (see Appendix E) and has provided rebates for more than 1500 high
efficiency washers since the program’s inception.
