NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF WATSONVILLE, CALIFORNIA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That pursuant to Subdivision (g) of CRL Section 33334.2, the City
and Agency hereby find that the provision of low and moderate income housing outside
the boundaries of the Project Area will be of benefit to the Project Area, due to the need
for such affordable housing throughout the community as indicated by the City of
Watsonville 2005 General Plan and as more land may be required than is available
within the Project Area for development of affordable housing.
Section 2.
That pursuant to Subdivision (g) of CRL Section 33334.2, the City
and Agency hereby authorizes the use of Low and Moderate Income Housing Funds
outside the boundaries of the Project Area.
Section 3.
That the findings and determinations set forth herein shall be
deemed final and conclusive.
Section 4.
That the City Clerk/Agency Secretary shall certify as to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner required by
law.
