وَاذْآُرُواْ‏ نِعْمَةَ‏ الل َّهِ‏ عَلَيْكُمْ‏ وَمِيثَقَهُ‏ ال َّذِى وَاثَقَكُم بِهِ‏ إِذْ‏
قُلْتُمْ‏ سَمِعْنَا
5:7 And remember Allah's favor to you and His
covenant with which He bound you when you said:
"We hear and we obey.''
وَأَطَعْنَا وَات َّقُواْ‏ الل َّهَ‏ إِن َّ الل َّهَ‏ عَلِيمٌ‏ بِذَاتِ‏ الص ُّدُورِ‏
And have Taqwa of Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Knower
of that which is in the breasts.
یَأَی ُّهَآ ال َّذِینَ‏ ءَامَنُواْ‏ آُونُواْ‏ قَو َّامِينَ‏ لل َّهِ‏ شُهَدَآءَ‏ بِالْقِسْطِ‏
وَلاَ‏ یَجْرِمَن َّكُمْ‏ شَنَآنُ‏ قَوْمٍ‏ عَلَى أَلا َّ تَعْدِلُواْ‏
5:8 O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah as
just witnesses; and let not the enmity and hatred of
others make you avoid justice.
اعْدِلُواْ‏ هُوَ‏ أَقْرَبُ‏ لِلت َّقْوَى
Be just, that is nearer to Taqwa;
وَات َّقُواْ‏ الل َّهَ‏ إِن َّ الل َّهَ‏ خَبِيرٌ‏ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ‏
and have Taqwa of Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-
Acquainted with what you do.
وَعَدَ‏ الل َّهُ‏ ال َّذِینَ‏ ءَامَنُواْ‏ وَعَمِلُواْ‏ الص َّلِحَتِ‏ لَهُم م َّغْفِرَةٌ‏
وَأَجْرٌ‏ عَظِيمٌ‏
5:9 Allah has promised those who believe and do
deeds of righteousness, that for them there is
forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).
