A INSTALLATION GUIDE 401 A.3.11 Fedora 13 (32-bit) Installing MOLPRO from source on Fedora 13 Linux can be done very easily using only free software. These notes assume a standard installation of Fedora 13. For all builds one should install the following additional packages via yum: gcc-c++ gcc-gfortran zlib-devel provides GNU C and C++ compiler, provides GNU Fortran compiler, provides a library for zipped files. Optionally one can choose to install: blas-devel lapack-devel provides a BLAS library, provides a LAPACK library, which will be used instead of compiling the equivalent MOLPRO routines. Serial MOLPRO After unpacking MOLPRO one can simply type ./configure -batch -gcc -gfortran make to build MOLPRO. Parallel MOLPRO using the Global Arrays with MPI2 should be installed via apt-get: The following additional packages mpich2 mpich2-devel provides MPI-2 library files provides MPI-2 include files Set up mpd by running: mpd and following the on screen instructions.
