3.14.6 Simulator
The value of the option Simulator −> "string" determines the source or target simulator for Analog
Insydes’ simulator interfaces and circuit analysis functions. The following simulators are supported:
"AnalogArtist"
"AnalogInsydes"
"Eldo"
"PSpice"
"Saber"
"Spectre"
Analog Artist
Analog Insydes
Eldo
PSpice
Saber
Spectre
Supported circuit simulators.
The default setting is Simulator −> "AnalogInsydes", which disables the usage of the external
simulator interface.
Note that the option value "AnalogArtist" corresponds to the handling of files generated by the
Spectre to Analog Insydes interface for Analog Artist, and "Spectre" to the treatment of Spectre PSF
files, respectively.
Although the Simulator option of ReadNetlist, ReadSimulationData, etc. is inherited from the
global Analog Insydes option Simulator, it is recommended to specify the Simulator option in
each call of the above mentioned commands rather than altering the global value.
3.14.7 UseExternals
The option UseExternals enables or disables the use of the external MathLink applications of Analog
Insydes. You can set UseExternals −> False if you prefer not to use MathLink programs or if you
