Chapter II: Kindreds<br />
Beastfriend<br />
Prerequisites: Charm Animal +10 or Outdoor Survival +10,<br />
Rover<br />
Description: You possess a unique empathy with <strong>the</strong> creatures<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> forest. This allows you to communicate telepathically with<br />
all animals at a basic level, as determined by <strong>the</strong> GM. Animals<br />
that are classed as spirit or magical creatures can be easier to<br />
converse with. You also gain a +10% bonus on all Bonding<br />
Tests (see pg. 94).<br />
Braveheart<br />
Prerequisites: Warrior Born or Will Power 50%+<br />
Description: You are exceptionally brave and unflinching in<br />
<strong>the</strong> face <strong>of</strong> adversity. You gain a +10% bonus to all Fear and<br />
Terror Tests, and also a +10% bonus to Intimidate Tests owing<br />
to <strong>the</strong> prestige <strong>of</strong> this honoured title.<br />
Blademaster<br />
Prerequisites: Weapon Skill 50%+ or Lightning Reflexes<br />
Description: You possess exceptional martial prowess and can<br />
wield two blades with ease. When using a blade in each hand<br />
(see WFRP pg. 129) you may swap <strong>the</strong> Parry for an extra 1<br />
attack as a Free Action, applying <strong>the</strong> normal -20% penalty for<br />
<strong>of</strong>f-hand attacks.<br />
Channeller<br />
Prerequisites: Magic Characteristic +3 or Will Power 50+<br />
Description: You are able to channel vast amounts <strong>of</strong> magical<br />
energy, increasing <strong>the</strong> potency <strong>of</strong> any spell you cast. You<br />
may double a number <strong>of</strong> its quantitative effects: range, area <strong>of</strong><br />
effect, duration, and so on - equal to your Magic Characteristic.<br />
However, for each effect doubled, a Chaos Die is added and <strong>the</strong><br />
Casting Number is increased by +1.<br />
Deathdancer<br />
Prerequisites: Priest (Loec), Performer (Acrobat) +20%<br />
Description: You have achieved such grace and poise <strong>of</strong> movement<br />
that you are able to dance and leap between opponents,<br />
leaving a trail <strong>of</strong> carnage in your wake. You gain a +1 bonus to<br />
<strong>the</strong> Casting Roll when using spells from <strong>the</strong> Lore <strong>of</strong> Mirth and<br />
Mayhem.<br />
Dreamwalker<br />
Prerequisites: Will Power 50%+<br />
Description: When traversing <strong>the</strong> Shadow Walk, you feel an<br />
uncanny sense <strong>of</strong> direction and may walk its silver paths with<br />
confidence. You know <strong>the</strong> tricks <strong>of</strong> its inhabitants and <strong>the</strong><br />
danger <strong>of</strong> becoming lost. Whe<strong>the</strong>r you are leading a group or<br />
walking alone, your party gains a +10% bonus to Will Power<br />
Tests for navigating <strong>the</strong> Shadow Walk (pg. 33).<br />
Eternal Guard<br />
Prerequisites: Specialist Weapon Group (Two-handed),<br />
Weapon Skill 50%+<br />
Description: You have mastered <strong>the</strong> Saearath, a traditional<br />
twin-bladed stave used by <strong>the</strong> Eternal Guard, that’s wielded in<br />
a flurry <strong>of</strong> deadly arcs. Such is your skill that you count as if<br />
wielding two weapons (see two-weapon fighting, WFRP pg.<br />
130).<br />

<strong>Forest</strong>-Walker<br />
Prerequisites: Silent Move +10%, Rover<br />
Description: You have spent your life beneath <strong>the</strong> wooded<br />
canopy, making you naturally adept at moving within forest<br />
environments. You are able to traverse woodland terrain (including<br />
Difficult Ground) without any movement penalty (see<br />
WFRP pg. 137).<br />
Glamourweaver<br />
Prerequisites: Priest (Isha), Lore <strong>of</strong> A<strong>the</strong>l Loren, Females only.<br />
Description: Your love <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> woodland realm has led you<br />
down a path <strong>of</strong> dedication to maintaining nature’s balance. You<br />
receive a +1 bonus to all Casting Rolls when using spells from<br />
<strong>the</strong> Lore <strong>of</strong> A<strong>the</strong>l Loren, as well as a +10% bonus to Fellowship-based<br />
tests when dealing with spirits <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> forests such as<br />
Dryads, Spites, and Treemen.<br />
Hawk-Eye<br />
Prerequisites: Ballistics 50%+, Marksman<br />
Description: After countless hours <strong>of</strong> practise and dedication,<br />
you have developed an exceptional ability with ranged weapons.<br />
When using a ranged weapon such as a bow or crossbow, you<br />
are able to adjust <strong>the</strong> Hit Location (see WFRP pg. 129) by +/-<br />
10%.<br />
Healer<br />
Prerequisites: Heal +10%, Intelligence 40%+<br />
Description: You have years <strong>of</strong> experience using <strong>the</strong> herbs <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> wild, allowing you to find and use a wide range <strong>of</strong> medicinal<br />
flora. You may re-roll once any tests relating to herbs, including<br />
Perception Tests to spot <strong>the</strong> desired herbs, Common Knowledge<br />
Tests to recall <strong>the</strong>ir whereabouts, or Trade (Apo<strong>the</strong>cary)<br />
Tests to prepare <strong>the</strong>m.<br />
Horsemaster<br />
Prerequisites: Ride +10%, Rover<br />
Description: You have a natural bond with horses and can<br />
trace your lineage to <strong>the</strong> ancient Horsemasters <strong>of</strong> Ellyrion in<br />
Ulthuan, <strong>the</strong> Elven Kingdoms. Your ancestral heritage is so<br />
strong that you may re-roll once any failed tests that involve<br />
horses, including Ride, Animal Care or Charm Animal.<br />
Mountaineer<br />
Prerequisites: Scale Sheer Surface +10%<br />
Description: Over time, you have developed a love for <strong>the</strong> wild<br />
mountain ranges. You can move with ease in any mountainous<br />
terrain (including Difficult Ground) without penalty (see<br />
WFRP pg. 137).<br />
Outlander<br />
Prerequisites: Sleight <strong>of</strong> Hand +10%, Alley Cat or Streetwise<br />
Description: You have turned your back on <strong>the</strong> Elven ways to<br />
follow your own code. Life outside <strong>the</strong> Elven community has<br />
taught you alternative survival skills. As Elves <strong>of</strong>ten do, you<br />
have honed <strong>the</strong>se new skills to perfection and are now an expert<br />
at sleight-<strong>of</strong>-hand and misdirection. You may re-roll once any<br />
Gamble, Charm (Bluff) and Sleight <strong>of</strong> Hand Tests.
