Ways with words<br />
It is emphasized from the outset that to manage a <strong>project</strong> <strong>successful</strong>ly demands<br />
certain ways with words. This is not solely about public speaking, though it is<br />
equally true that <strong>project</strong> <strong>management</strong> demands elements <strong>of</strong> a public speaker<br />
from the <strong>project</strong> manager. It is all about being fluent at work, and that in itself<br />
requires that you develop your facility with words, phrases, ideas issues and<br />
feelings that are pertinent to the DE <strong>project</strong> you will be handling. Please note that<br />
words alone play a minor role, but it is how you use them to come across to<br />
others that really matters. The use <strong>of</strong> words to interact is referred to as verbal<br />
communication, and the use <strong>of</strong> gestures, facial expression, etc. is referred to as<br />
non-verbal communication. In combination, these two constitute the most<br />
