41 Morgan Stanley Investment Funds 30 June 2009 US Small Cap Growth Fund INVESTMENT AIMS To seek long-term capital appreciation, measured in US Dollars, by investing primarily in the common shares of small sized (with a market capitalisation of up to US $5 billion) US companies and, on an ancillary basis, non-US corporations that are early in their life cycle, but which have potential to become major enterprises (emerging growth companies).
