7.4.5 Modified slenderness parameter<br />

The essential step in dealing with reinforced elements is to replace the<br />

usual slenderness parameter ß (=b/t or dc /t) by a modified value ß’,<br />

defined as follows for an element having st<strong>and</strong>ard reinforcement:<br />
