<strong>PK</strong>-<strong>232</strong> OPERATING MANUAL<br />

COMMAND SUMMARY<br />

The same Command Mode entry character COMMAND (default ) is used to exit<br />

Transparent Mode, although the procedure is different than from Converse mode.<br />

Three Command Mode entry characters must be entered lose than On'. times 10<br />

seconds apart, with no intervening characters, after a delay of 'n' times 10<br />

seconds following the last characters typed.<br />

Default: OFF<br />

Parameters:<br />

ON - The recorded CTEXT message is sent as the first packet after a<br />

connection is established by a connect request from a distant station.<br />

OFF - The text message is not sent at all.<br />

CMSG (default OFF) enables or disables automatic transmission of the CTEXT<br />

message when your <strong>PK</strong>-<strong>232</strong> accepts a connect request from another station. Set<br />

CMSG ON to give others a message when they connect to your <strong>PK</strong>-<strong>232</strong> or invite them<br />

to leave a message on your MailDrop if you are not there. (See MTEXT.)<br />
