Specifies your SELective CALling code (SELCALL)<br />

Use the MYSELCAL command to enter the SELCALL (SELective CALLing) code required<br />

in AMTOR ARQ (Mode A) and SELFEC operating modes. MYSELCAL is a unique character<br />

string which must contain four alphabetic characters and is normally derived from<br />

your call sign.<br />

Amateurs may simply enter their callsign and the <strong>PK</strong>-<strong>232</strong> will automatically<br />

translate it to a 4-character SELCALL using the grouping table below:<br />

I by2 WIXY WWXY<br />

I by3 W1XYZ WXYZ<br />

2 by1 ABIX AABX<br />

2 by2 ABLXY ABXY<br />

2 by3 KAIXYZ KXYZ<br />

Although the convention is to form the SELCALL from the call sign, your <strong>PK</strong>-<strong>232</strong><br />

can include any AMTOR character in the SELCALL. In accordance with CCIR<br />

Recommendation 491, four- or five-digit numbers may be entered; the <strong>PK</strong>-<strong>232</strong><br />

automatically translates the numeric entry to your four-letter alpha SELCALL.<br />

or may not be separated by spaces, commas or TABS.<br />

NAVMSG uses Letter arguments to determine which NAVTEX messages your <strong>PK</strong>-<strong>232</strong> will<br />

print. NAVTEX messages are grouped into classes by the second letter in the<br />

Preamble. The NAVMSG Command allows ALL, NONE or a list of up to 13 letters<br />

representing message types to be Monitored or Rejected.<br />

NAVY-SG may be cleared with “%”, “&” or "OFF” as arguments.<br />
