Thefollowing candidates were recommended to the Secretary of InternalAiTairs to receive mine foreman's certificates:Louis Eoslick, Scranton; J. W. Jenkins, Duryea; Theo. Bowen,v^cranton; F. ('. Abbott, Dunmore; Wm. Bainbridge, Rendham; StephenJohn, Rendham; Jas. G. McMillan, IMttston; Jesse Palmer,Scranton; F. ('. Abbott, Dunmore; Wm. Bainbridge, Rendham; SolomonCrow, Dunmore.Note.—Mr. C. E. Robertson also passed a successful examination.He was not recommended to receive a certificate because he lackedthe necessary five years' experience as required by law.The following were recommended to receive assistantforeman'scertilicates; Fred. White, Win. Hartshorn, James Hartshorn, M. F.Madden, Thos. H. Jones, Pat. McNealy, I. Unsworth, Thos. Pugh,Geo. A. White, D. A. M<strong>org</strong>an, Morris T. Watkins.Respectfully submitted,H. O.
