Bernard joins the Goodbridge camp and summarizes the opinions. He suggests a simpleprocess (argue a bit, then vote) to reach consensus and calls for Uffe to share his view….De : imperial, bernard [mailto:bernard.imperial@CGG.com]Envoyé : mercredi 12 juin 2013 23:48Dear All,Hello from Paris!Below is my view.Provided there’s no spare time (and probably no means) to dig into Bauer situation and see if theaccusation against Bauer are developing, Gianluca should choose to go with Goodbridge, whileimmediately launching a plan to review the next season with a reduced budget and going back to SirRalph to present the budget trying to get more money based on level of performance during the firstraces for instance. In addition a plan to find an additional sponsor during the season might belaunched (organizing special events on some races to attract sponsors on the spot for one race). We’ve now 4 out of 5 team members input (I added below Edson’s answer received in cc:)One missing…But already differing views. We so need to define a way to reach a team consensus on our finaldecision. Could we argue a bit then vote?Waiting anyway for your input Uffe,Kind RegardsBernard…and here comes Uffe, who also prefers to sign with Sir Ralph….De : Uffe Halldorsson [mailto:UH@FLSMIDTH.COM]Envoyé : jeudi 13 juin 2013 09:37Dear all,Sorry for late reply. My first reaction was that a decision could not be taken based on the available information - andwithout any risk evaluation of the consequences of the decision. The decision could have a hugeimpact on the Eagleracings future. But I choose the sponser with the lowest risk and the bestbranding profile for the Eagleracing- Goodbridge - giving Eagleracing time to find additionalsponsors as mentinoned. Dependency of one main sponsors sounds risky – especially if the valuesof the Sponsor and the Racing Team are not align. If I should make a parallel to the real world we have in Denmark a professional bike cyclingcompany called Riis Cycling. The are now called Team Saxo Bank – Tinkoff. Every time they loosetheir main sponsor they are fighting for survival. Now they have 2 main sponsors - it looks likethey for period have mitigated the risk and have found a more sustainable solution. As I see it we are now 4 in favor for GoodBridge and 1 for Bauer….Best RegardsUffe HalldorssonGroup Health and Safety ManagerAAA/INSEAD/062013 - 16
