…Thomas also joins the Goodbridge camp but is puzzled by the quick consensus reached inthe team. He asks if anybody would like to send the final decision…De : Thomas.Henn@gdfsuez-energie.de [mailto:Thomas.Henn@gdfsuez-energie.de]Envoyé : jeudi 13 juin 2013 07:44Hello to everybody,No need to repeat all your good arguments. I also favor Goodbridge.Maybe one further option: Goodbridge may allocate their 10 mio / year budget differentlyand may sponsor in the first year 18 mio (and in the second 6 mio and again 6 in the thirdyear) to give Eagle Racing more time to look for another sponsor in the second yearThe only thing me partly concerns: is it really that straight forward for Goodbridge? Do wemiss something?Practical question: Is there any volunteer to submit our common decision (in time) on Friday to Albert (I am notin the office on Friday…)? Thanks in advance.Looking forward to see you guys in some days,Thomas…but here comes Gregory and he has a different opinion: in his view Bauer is the betterchoice as the deal is based on facts and data instead of emotions and passion….De : Gregory MOURAT [mailto:gregory.mourat@valeo.com]Envoyé : lundi 17 juin 2013 16:17Hello Team,I clearly understand arguments from everybody and to be honnest, GoodBridge was as wellmy election after seeing the video, it was like "emotional" decision driver.I did review a second time the video, and now I think Bauer is the best option. The main doubt that I have with Goodbridge , in addition to the fact that they are bringingonly 60% of the budget, is that we don't know the motivation of GoodBridge boss to go forsponsoring EagleRacing. He just said that he loves racing, after 3 hours of meeting, discussingabout all except racing... Potentially, this guy could switch of passion without evident reason, like the former main sponsor did, even if Eagle racing sport results were good. With Bauer, the situation looks clear. It is only for business, no passion. We know what theywant, they want to use this sponsoring to develop their business with their VP customers. It isa 3 years contract and Eagle has just to manage his part of the deal, by making VP Bauercustomers happy. My opinion is that for this kind of contract, we should see fact and data with a bit lessemotion.Let's discussGregoryAAA/INSEAD/062013 - 65
