<strong>RISL</strong>: <strong>RFP</strong> FOR SETTING UP OF VIDEO CONFERENCE SOLUTION IN RAJASTHAN (BEFORE PRE-BID)23-Aug-13g) Any penalties/ liquidated damages, as applicable, for delay and non-performance,as mentioned in this bidding document, will be deducted from the payments for therespective milestones.h) Taxes (work contract tax, service tax, VAT, income tax, etc.), as applicable, will bededucted at source, from due payments, as per the prevalent rules and regulations.7.2. Service Level Standards/ Requirements/ Agreement:a) Service Level RequirementsService Levels play an important role in defining the Quality <strong>of</strong> Services (QoS). Theprime objective <strong>of</strong> service levels is to ensure quality video conference servicesavailable, in a efficient mannner to the identified users.The service levels shall be tracked on a periodic basis and have penalty clauses onnon-adherence to any <strong>of</strong> them. The bidder shall submit reports (Uptime, downtime,service resolution etc.) on all the service levels (VC service, server and/or solutionavailability at SHQ & DHQ) to the Purchaser in accordance with the specifiedformats and reporting periods and provide clarification, if required. The servicelevels defined below provide for target level <strong>of</strong> services required, measurementsthere<strong>of</strong> and associated penalties.b) Service Level ChangeIt is acknowledged that service levels may change as VC system evolves over thecourse <strong>of</strong> the contract period. The present SLAs have been worked out on the basis<strong>of</strong> current expectation. Service levels between the Purchaser and <strong>Bid</strong>der can berevised after the start <strong>of</strong> operations <strong>of</strong> <strong>Rajasthan</strong> VC in view <strong>of</strong> the experiencegained. The experience gained during this period will be used to fine tune the SLAs,including parameters, targets and penalties, if required.Any changes to the levels <strong>of</strong> service provided during the project period will berequested, documented and negotiated in good faith by both parties. Either partycan request a change. The request will be considered & finalized by <strong>RISL</strong> inconsultation with succsessful bidder.
