RISL: RFP FOR SETTING UP OF VIDEO CONFERENCE SOLUTION IN RAJASTHAN (BEFORE PRE-BID)23-Aug-13ANNEXURE-2: TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS1) SI should ensure that all the software, hardware, peripherals, accessories, sub-componentsrequired for the functionality and completeness of the solution, including devices,equipment, accessories, patch cords (copper / fiber), cables, software, licenses,development / testing kits, tools, etc. should also be provisioned according to therequirements of the solution. Also, any additional components, sub-components,assemblies, sub-assemblies that may be required to meet the desired performancerequirements will have to be provisioned by the SI at no additional cost.2) Any technical functionality which cannot be complied through in-built solution shall be metby supplying additional hardware/software without any additional cost.3) The multiple equipment’s/servers/components of VC solution at central location can beclubbed together into a single unit; however the individual functionality as mentioned intechnical specifications should be complied. The MCUs and license authentication shouldbe provided in physical 1+1 mode at SHQ.4) The selected bidder must make sure that all the equipment’s are interoperable and IPv6ready from the day one.5) The port requirement may be complied with by supplying additional convertor without anyadditional cost.Package-A: Core Video Conference Solution:Item No. - 1: Multipoint Video Conference system“MCU” in present context shall mean any device (along with hardware and software) capable ofinterconnecting VC users in a point-to-point and point-to-multipoint video conference.A.
