Jean-Luc Bret is the Founding
Chairman of La Croissanterie SA since
1977, which today has 180 outlets
in France, Ireland, Italy and Portugal.
With its “Le Goût du Naturel” (Natural
Taste) concept, La Croissanterie
welcomes 100,000 customers every
day for a morning break (bakery goods,
fruit juice, cappuccino, etc.), at lunch
(sandwiches, salad plates, quiches,
desserts, etc.) and at tea time (pastries,
gourmet coffees, muffi ns).
A 1968 graduate of ISTEC, Institut
Supérieur des Sciences, Techniques et
Économie Commerciales, he managed
the industrial bakery BLE OR SA until
1977.
In addition, Jean-Luc Bret is Chairman
of PROCOS, Fédération pour
l’Urbanisme et le Développement
du Commerce spécialisé, which
groups together more than 250 large
companies in France and is signatory
to the agreement to create and
apply the Commercial Rental Index
(ILC), Chairman of l’ISTEC – a 5-year
programme – a degree signed by the
Ministry of National Education, and
also Vice-Chairman of CNCC, Conseil
National des Centres Commerciaux.
He also participated in the Joint
