Since September 2002, Éric Le Gentil
has been member of the Management
Committee of Generali France (the
group’s parent company in France) and
corporate offi cer of Generali France
Assurances (the group’s insurance
holding company).
He is in charge of Asset Management
(including real estate), steering,
reinsurance and the g roup’s specialised
companies.
Éric Le Gentil began his career
on secondment with the
Inspection Générale des Finances
(September 1985 – May 1996), before
going on to work as Commissaire
contrôleur des assurances (insurance
supervisor) with the Insurance
department of the Ministry of Finance
(June 1986 – January 1990) and
Technical Advisor for M.P. Beregovoy
(February 1990 – March 1992).
He worked for the Athena Assurances
group (April 1992 – June 1998)
and AGF Assurances (July 1998 –
January 1999).
He holds a degree from École
Polytechnique, Sciences Po Paris
and the Institut des Actuaires Français
(French Actuaries Institute).
Éric Le Gentil is a member of the
Executive Commission of the FFSA
(French Insurance Association),
