It suspended publication in May 1945.Työmies (The Worker)—a newspaper <strong>of</strong> the Social- DemocraticParty <strong>of</strong> Finland, published in Helsingfors from March 1895 <strong>to</strong>1918. p. 220The Internationalist—a weekly, the organ <strong>of</strong> the Left- wing Socialists,published in Bos<strong>to</strong>n, U.S.A., from early 1917 by the SocialistPropaganda League. On its edi<strong>to</strong>rial board were U.S. andother internationalists, among them Williams, Gibbs, Zartarian,Rosin, Rutgers, and Edwards. p. 221Stürgkh, Karl (1859- 1916)—reactionary Austrian statesman; from1911 <strong>to</strong> 1916, head <strong>of</strong> the Austro- Hungarian Government which<strong>to</strong>ok active part in preparing and starting the First World War.It dissolved the Austrian and later the Hungarian Parliamentand set up a military- absolutist dicta<strong>to</strong>rship which crushed themounting anti- war and revolutionary movement.
