LENIN5It seems to me that in order to prepare people’s mindsproperly we must immediately circulate the followingslogan: transfer power now to the Petrograd Soviet whichwill transfer it to the Congress of Soviets. Why should wetolerate three more weeks of war and Kerensky’s “Kornilovitepreparations”?Propaganda in favour of this slogan by the Bolsheviksand Left Socialist-Revolutionaries in Finland can do nothingbut good.6Since you are vested with “power” in Finland, you haveto do one more very important, though in itself modestjob—organise the illegal transport of literature fromSweden. Without this all talk of an “International” is anempty phrase. This can be done, first, by creating our ownorganisation of soldiers at the frontier; secondly, if this isimpossible, by organising regular trips of at least one reliableman to a certain place where I began to organise the transportwith the aid of the person in whose house I lived for oneday before moving to Helsingfors (Rovio knows him). 41Perhaps we must help with some money.
