Appendix D-3Runoff Reduction Credit CriteriaThe following series of tables presents information related to calculating runoff reduction credits for thecontrol measures presented in Chapter 5 of the Design Manual.Runoff Reduction Credits for Porous PavementThis table refers to runoff reduction credit worksheets/forms which can be found in Appendix D-1 andD-2 of this Design Manual. Efficiency multipliers were taken from Denver manual.PavementTypePerviousConcrete orAsphaltModularBlockPavementApplications and Runoff Reduction CreditsResidential - Runoff Reduction Credits can be obtained for use of these materials in driveways (seeAlternative Driveways Fact Sheet). The credit calculation is simplified in Appendix D-1.Commercial - Runoff Reduction Credits can be obtained for the use on any appropriate commercialsurface. Credits are calculated using an efficiency multiplier of 60%. The credit calculation issimplified in Appendix D-2.Residential - Runoff Reduction Credits can be obtained for use of modular block in driveways (seeAlternative Driveways Fact Sheet). The credit calculation is simplified in Appendix D-1. Creditscan be obtained for use of modular block in other areas of residential development where surfaceswhich would otherwise be impervious are substituted with MBP. Use an efficiency multiplier of75%Commercial - Runoff Reduction Credits can be obtained for the use of modular block on anyappropriate commercial surface. Credits are calculated using an efficiency multiplier of 75%. Thecredit calculation is simplified in Appendix D-2.ReinforcedGrassPavementCobblestoneBlockPavementPorousGravelPavementResidential - Runoff Reduction Credits can be obtained for use of reinforced grass pavement inresidential development where surfaces which would otherwise be impervious are substituted withreinforced grass pavement. Use an efficiency multiplier of 100%.Commercial - Runoff Reduction Credits can be obtained for the use of reinforced grass pavementon any appropriate commercial surface. Credits are calculated using an efficiency multiplier of100%. This calculation is simplified in Appendix D-2.Residential - Runoff Reduction Credits can be obtained for use of cobblestone block pavement indriveways (see Alternative Driveways Fact Sheet). The credit calculation is simplified in AppendixD-1. Credits can be obtained for use of cobblestone block pavement in other areas of residentialdevelopment where surfaces which would otherwise be impervious are substituted withcobblestone block pavement.
