When you click Finish at the end of the Task Wizard, the new task will be created and added to yourWindows schedule.Note: These email tasks will need to be set up on each node that will generate emailnotification.Primary Server ShutdownOn a graceful shutdown of the source server, all pending writes to the target are completed. This ensures thatall data is present on the target system.On an unexpected source server failure, the Intent Log feature eliminates the need to do a full resync after therecovery of the source server. If the Intent Log feature is disabled or if SteelEye DataKeeper detected aproblem accessing the volume's Intent Log file, then a full resync will occur after the source server is restoredto service.Secondary Server FailuresIn the event there is a failure affecting the secondary (target) system, the affected mirror is marked Paused. Itis necessary to correct the condition that caused the secondary to fail and then resync the volumes. Thereare no write attempts made to the target after the secondary server fails.When the secondary server comes back online after a failure, the source side of the mirror will automaticallyreconnect to the target side of the mirror.
