If he were solely <strong>the</strong> Spirit mutable in Nature, <strong>the</strong>re wouldbe <strong>on</strong>ly an eternal and universal becoming. If you limit your faithand knowledge to that <strong>on</strong>e aspect, you will never go bey<strong>on</strong>d yourpers<strong>on</strong>ality and its c<strong>on</strong>stant changeful figures; <strong>on</strong> such a foundati<strong>on</strong>you would be bound altoge<strong>the</strong>r in <strong>the</strong> revoluti<strong>on</strong>s of Nature.But you are not merely a successi<strong>on</strong> of soul moments in Time.There is an impers<strong>on</strong>al self in you which supports <strong>the</strong> streamof your pers<strong>on</strong>ality and is <strong>on</strong>e with God’s vast and impers<strong>on</strong>alspirit. And incalculable bey<strong>on</strong>d this impers<strong>on</strong>ality and pers<strong>on</strong>ality,dominating <strong>the</strong>se two c<strong>on</strong>stant poles of what you are here,you are eternal and transcendent in <strong>the</strong> Eternal Transcendence.“If, again, <strong>the</strong>re were <strong>on</strong>ly <strong>the</strong> truth of an eternal impers<strong>on</strong>alself that nei<strong>the</strong>r acts nor creates, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> world and your soulwould be illusi<strong>on</strong>s without any real basis. If you limit your faithand knowledge to this <strong>on</strong>e l<strong>on</strong>ely aspect, <strong>the</strong> renunciati<strong>on</strong> of lifeand acti<strong>on</strong> is your <strong>on</strong>ly resource. But God in <strong>the</strong> world and youin <strong>the</strong> world are realities; <strong>the</strong> world and you are true and actualpowers and manifestati<strong>on</strong>s of <strong>the</strong> Supreme. Therefore acceptlife and acti<strong>on</strong> and do not reject <strong>the</strong>m. One with God in yourimpers<strong>on</strong>al self and essence, an eternal porti<strong>on</strong> of <strong>the</strong> Godheadturned to him by <strong>the</strong> love and adorati<strong>on</strong> of your spiritual pers<strong>on</strong>alityfor its own Infinite, make of your natural being what itis intended to be, an instrument of works, a channel, a powerof <strong>the</strong> Divine. That it always is in its truth, but now unc<strong>on</strong>sciouslyand imperfectly, through <strong>the</strong> lower nature, doomed to adisfigurement of <strong>the</strong> Godhead by your ego. Make it c<strong>on</strong>sciouslyand perfectly and without any distorti<strong>on</strong> by ego a power of <strong>the</strong>Divine in his supreme spiritual nature and a vehicle of his willand his works. In this way you will live in <strong>the</strong> integral truth ofyour own being and you will possess <strong>the</strong> integral God-uni<strong>on</strong>,<strong>the</strong> whole and flawless Yoga.“The Supreme is <strong>the</strong> Purushottama, eternal bey<strong>on</strong>d all manifestati<strong>on</strong>,infinite bey<strong>on</strong>d all limitati<strong>on</strong> by Time or Space orCausality or any of his numberless qualities and features.
