SP-2000/X-YInstallationMounting The Pan/Tilt Head & PayloadThe four screws to attach the head to the pedestal column should have beenremoved from the pedestal crate earlier.1. With the MCB controller in Local, twist the joystick to lower the column toits minimum height. Since the column is not balanced, you may need tohelp the servo by pushing down on the column.2. Switch the MCB controller to Remote.3. Press the Stop button on the pedestal control panel to power it down.4. Position the screws in the holes in the mounting plate at the top of the column.4 Mounting Screws(1 Hidden)5. Refer to the User Manual for the Pan/Tilt Head for specific instructions onmounting the head and payload.CAUTION: After mounting the head and payload, NEVERtry to raise or lower the column until the pedestal has beenpressurized - see the next section of this chapter.3-10 User Manual
