PC Software OverviewBattery Check Ic<strong>on</strong>CursorButt<strong>on</strong>sThe battery check ic<strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong> the upper left side of the main screen provides a meansof checking the internal battery voltage of the gas analyzer. Simply select the ic<strong>on</strong>and the Battery Check screen displays.The cursor is shaped like a wrench. Using the mouse to drag the cursor, place thetip of the handle (top of the cursor) over the item you want to select, then click theleft mouse butt<strong>on</strong>.Butt<strong>on</strong>s and commands both provide access to the functi<strong>on</strong>s of the gas analyzer,however they are organized differently. Butt<strong>on</strong>s display menus c<strong>on</strong>taining furtheropti<strong>on</strong>s whereas commands are tied more directly to tasks.Customer/Vehicle— Provides opti<strong>on</strong>s to add a new customer, find an existingcustomer, view/edit a customer, or delete a customer.Gas— Use to perform gas analyzer tests that include:• TSI Test• Manual Meters• Strip Chart• Service Utilities (diagnostics and setup)Calibrati<strong>on</strong>— Use to perform a gas calibrati<strong>on</strong>, leak check, or install anew NO x sensor.Shop Informati<strong>on</strong>— Provides opti<strong>on</strong>s to enter or obtain shop informati<strong>on</strong>,change the password, access <strong>on</strong>line help, and viewversi<strong>on</strong> and memory usage informati<strong>on</strong> about thesoftware.Exit— Closes the gas analyzer software program.3A-2
