PC Automatic Testsignition key off for a period of 10 seconds and then restart the engine. The secondchance 2500 RPM Stage then begins.1981-1984 Ford Sedans with 5.8L EnginesTurn the ignition key off for a period of 10 seconds before beginning the 2500 RPMStage and Idle RPM Stage. If an RPM violation occurs during the delay, thecountdown restarts. At the end of 10 seconds you are directed to restart theengine and the 2500 RPM Stage begins.1984 Jeeps with 2.5L EnginesDuring the 2500 RPM Stage, the upper RPM limit should be 2650.1984 Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth Sedans with 2.2L Fuel Injected Engines andAutomatic TransmissionsBefore beginning the Idle RPM Stage, set the parking break, press the brake pedaland run the idle stage with the vehicle in DRIVE. When the idle stage is complete,return the transmission to PARK and release the parking brake.1984-1987 BMW, 1985-1988 Volvo 740, and 1986-1987 Peugeot 505 Sedanswith Automatic TransmissionsIt is preferable for this vehicle to be inspected at its dealership due to the possibilityof transmission damage. If you still want to continue, the vehicle should be at normaloperating temperature. If the vehicle is not, drive the vehicle until it is warm. Do notperform the 2500 RPM stage but proceed directly to the Idle RPM Stage.
