Required fields include Last Name, Year, Engine Size, # Cylinders and GrossVehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). These fields are required to use Standards. Whenselecting New Customer, the city, state/province, and country default to thesettings entered in Shop Informati<strong>on</strong>, assuming that most customers are from thelocal area. If the new customer is not from the local area, change these fields toreflect the correct informati<strong>on</strong>.Any field with a down arrow shown al<strong>on</strong>g the right side has a pull-down list boxwith available selecti<strong>on</strong>s to make entering informati<strong>on</strong> easier. The vehicle Makeand Model selecti<strong>on</strong> lists c<strong>on</strong>tain <strong>on</strong>ly a partial listing of available vehicles. If aparticular vehicle Make or Model is not listed, simply enter the informati<strong>on</strong>.Figure 3E-2: Customer Notes ScreenThe Notes butt<strong>on</strong> allows you to enter additi<strong>on</strong>al informati<strong>on</strong> about the customer orvehicle in the Customer Notes text area. See Figure 3E-2.When the customer and vehicle informati<strong>on</strong> is entered, press the OK butt<strong>on</strong> topermanently save the customer and vehicle informati<strong>on</strong> to the hard drive. Pressingthe OK butt<strong>on</strong> closes the Customer/Vehicle Informati<strong>on</strong> window and displays thecustomer name in the main screen informati<strong>on</strong> bar at the bottom.
