DemoMode is enabled in Main menu > Maintenance > Setup > General Setup >General. Enabling Demo Mode is often useful for training or dem<strong>on</strong>strati<strong>on</strong>purposes.Standby ModeStandby Mode (green) indicates you have been inactive for 10 or moreminutes while the menu was displayed. Any acti<strong>on</strong> takes the system out ofthis mode and resumes normal functi<strong>on</strong>ing.Initializing OBDInitializing OBD (yellow) appears if OBD RPM is selected for use and thesystem determines that the OBD c<strong>on</strong>nector is attached to a vehicle, eitherrunning or with the key in ON positi<strong>on</strong>. This message appears until thec<strong>on</strong>necti<strong>on</strong> is established. Once the c<strong>on</strong>necti<strong>on</strong> is established, themessage goes away.Zero Calibrati<strong>on</strong> RequiredZero Calibrati<strong>on</strong> Required (yellow) is the gas analyzer signal that a zerocalibrati<strong>on</strong> is required.Using General Setup, you can c<strong>on</strong>figure the Auto Zero so it must beperformed automatically rather than just issuing a warning. It is a goodidea to set it to perform automatically. Use Maintenance > Setup > GeneralSetup > Misc to set this opti<strong>on</strong>. See Misc, page 2G-16.2G-30
