Sexual morph unknown.Description <strong>in</strong> vitro: Colonies on OA 9–11 mm diam <strong>in</strong> 2 wk (18–20mm <strong>in</strong> 3 wk), with an even, glabrous, colourless marg<strong>in</strong>; immersedmycelium mostly coral <strong>to</strong> scarlet, the pigment diffus<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> thesurround<strong>in</strong>g medium; <strong>in</strong> the centre black and slightly elevated withmostly superficial, glabrous pycnidia, surrounded by an area withmore scattered pycnidia, releas<strong>in</strong>g pale white <strong>to</strong> pale flesh dropletsof conidial slime; aerial mycelium only present <strong>in</strong> the centre, butwell-developed, dense, appressed, woolly, white or greyish, locallywith a flesh haze; reverse scarlet <strong>to</strong> coral, the centre darker, bloodwww.studies<strong>in</strong>mycology.org267
