This theyconfessed to me. And I seemed to some extent to reconcile the people to him, so that theyavoid communion with him no more. Small achievements these, maybe, and not worthmuch, but in consequence of the mutual discord caused by the wiles of the devil, it was impossiblefor me to effect more.
