Address File (PAF).Statement of AccuracyAll lodgements must have a minimum of 85% Statement of Accuracy (“SOA”)against the NZ <strong>Post</strong> <strong><strong>Post</strong>al</strong> Address File (PAF). If the lodgement contains lessthan 85% SOA, the entire lodgement will be uprated to the next most applicableproduct. More information about Statement of Accuracy standards can befound on our website at www.nzpost.co.nz/addressing.Return addressAll items must have a valid <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> return address, including thecorrect <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> postcode.The return address can be located anywhere on the mail piece, as long as it isdistinguishable from the delivery address.We recommend that you have the placement and layout of your return addressassessed prior to printing by faxing it to our Customer Service Centre on 0800424 802 or emailing fp.pp@nzpost.co.nzMail PrintingThe sequenced portion of the lodgement must be printed in the postie runsequence specified in the <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> sequence file version.Each sequenced mail item must have two codes printed in the address block,as follows:Round Number – comprising:­ 3 characters (branch abbreviation)­ 3 numbers (round abbreviation)­ minimum 15 spaces­ 1 number (NZ <strong>Post</strong> line area)(e.g. NMS005 6)<strong>Post</strong>code - comprising 4 digits(e.g. 6035)The codes can be printed in the same font as the address, however the RoundNumber must be ‘address line 1’, left justified and 12 point font.When using a windowed envelope it is critical that both codes are completelyvisible, so their position must take into account the complete range ofmovement of the insert inside the envelope.Below is an exampleNMS005 6Mr ExampleFlat 4c11 Example StreetNgaio 6035Wellington 6035In circumstances where mail items are damaged in the production process,these items will need to be reprinted and trayed / bundled separately, with astandard red and white mixed postcode label and in such circumstances <strong>New</strong><strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> reserves the right to uprate the entire lodgement.Lodgement timesLodgementrequirementsAfter 8am and before 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and publicholidays).Items lodged after these times will be processed the following working day (ie.Monday to Friday).Items must be lodged at:<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> <strong>Post</strong> Mail Service CentresPUG 8g (October 2013) Page 3 of 5
