Directors’ ReportThe Directors have pleasure in submitting their report together with the audited financial statements of the Group andCompany for the financial year ended 31 December 2009.PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIESThe principal activities of the Group are the provision of mobile communication services and network transmission relatedservices.The principal activities of the Company are investment holding and consultancy services on an international scale, where ithas investments in subsidiaries and associates. The principal activities of the subsidiaries are mainly the provision of mobilecommunication services and network transmission related services.The principal activities of the subsidiaries are set out in Note 45 to the financial statements.
