Simon spentmore than 20 years with BritishTelecom in the UK and its operationsin the USA as well as India (Bharti),Singapore (StarHub) and the regionaloffice in Asia Pacific. Subsequentlyhe spent five years in Indochina, asCEO of Millicom Cellular’s Vietnamoperations and later as CEO of itsregional operations for the whole ofIndochina. He also spent three yearsin Australia with Silk Telekom beforereturning to Indochina.Simon graduated from LoughboroughUniversity of Technology, UnitedKingdom with an Honours Degree inElectrical and Electronic Engineeringin 1983, and gained his MBA in 1993from Warwick University, UnitedKingdom. Simon is also a GraduateMember of the Australian Institute ofCompany Directors.06Sanjeev AgaManaging DirectorIdea Cellular LimitedSanjeev was appointed ManagingDirector of Idea on 1 November2006. He is a Director on the Boardof the Aditya Birla ManagementCorporation, and has been theChairperson of the Cellular OperatorsAssociation of India.Sanjeev has held positions in AsianPaints, Jenson & Nicholson, and BlowPlast Ltd. where he was the ManagingDirector from 1993 to 1998. In 1998,he was appointed CEO of Birla AT&TLtd.
