See how the child plays. He is happy about it since he hasno valuable ideas about the play. You should be able to submityour ideas and let the programme replace your ideas. Doingminimises thinking and it is what we know as the play <strong>of</strong> thechild. <strong>The</strong> child smiles not like the adult, because it has noideas about the smile. So let your routine <strong>of</strong> the day be a child’splay, If you have to run, to keep up timings, let your body runwhile you have no necessity to run. Run physically when needed,do not run mentally. If you do not know this secret, the wholeprocess <strong>of</strong> <strong>Yoga</strong> practice will be as much a hell to you as yourdaily routine. When you are able to make everything a child’splay, then the programme points on the dial <strong>of</strong> the clock will beestablished. <strong>The</strong> hours are arranged in the cycle <strong>of</strong> time. Yourconsciousness is the axis <strong>of</strong> the dial <strong>of</strong> time and you will have“Axis arranged hours” in the language <strong>of</strong> Master C. V. V.Gradually you will get a polygon <strong>of</strong> your daily activity.Everyone <strong>of</strong> you should have his or her own polygon in the 24hours. You can divide into four parts <strong>of</strong> six hours each, andmeasure accordingly if it is more convenient. <strong>The</strong>re are fourcardinal points in the day, the Sunrise, noon, the Sun-set andthe midnight. <strong>The</strong>se points form the cross within the circle. It iscalled the ‘Cross <strong>of</strong> Matter and Mind’ upon which the Lord <strong>of</strong>Time is crucified. You can have some such arrangement foryour routine. When the daily activity is regularised, there is theuniformity <strong>of</strong> life expression which makes you fit to conductPranayama or tranquilizing the pulsations as described above.Every attempt to regulate your breath should be supplementedby your attempt to regulate your daily activity.
