94 Lessons on The Yoga of Patanjaliwithin the circumference of his purview. Someone says “My daysare bad”. The same Sun rises in the same East and sets in selfsamewest. So there are only days to us, neither good nor bad.We make them bad or good by staining them with our ownimpressions. Same thing is true with obstacles. With the sameobstacles someone achieves success, while the other standsaghast. With the same 52 cards one plays a nice game of Bridge, while the other one gets defeated by not being able to gulf theBridge. He does not know that he can bridge the gulf. When youbegin to live with the Lord in you, you will know that there are noobstacles except the undesirable traits of your not-self. Patanjalilists out the obstacles that stand on the way of the Yoga-student.Unless one knows them he does not know that they are notobstacles. We tried Aurobindo(Poor fellow) for one year and let us try with the Christ, Himself”.Now the Christ is unfortunate. Trying to meditate upon everyfellow of a Master and leaving him to try a better one. Seehow crazy ones we are, yet we are not ashamed of calling this, spiritualism. After trying with many Masters, sometimes whenGod is not lucky we stop thinking of Him. Such an importantfellow as myself stopped thinking of God means that God isreally having His bad days. This is the second obstacle. The third one is “doubt”. After three or four years ofYoga practice, one begins to think “Is all this true, or is it the
