You have also come to know about the negative andthe positive centres <strong>of</strong> consciousness. <strong>The</strong> negative centre gathersimpressions from the environment through the senses while thepositive centre shines forth as the faculties <strong>of</strong> the mind and thesenses. <strong>The</strong>se two centres receive and transmit through thebrain cells and the cerebrospinal nervous system. Man expresseshimself as I AM through either <strong>of</strong> these centres. When heexpresses through the negative centre, he is called the individualwith limitation. When he begins to express through the positivecentre, he is called. ‘Ishwara,’ the Lord <strong>of</strong> the mind, sensesand the body. “Ishwara exists as the heart <strong>of</strong> all living beings,making everyone work through the machine that is fabricatedas the constitution.” says Lord Krishna in Bhagavadgita. Evenwhile existing in the not-self, man understands himself as ‘ lAM’ though the experience is bondage and limitation <strong>of</strong> theenvironment. His actions are not safe since his guidance is theenvironment that is continuously changing. When one knowshow to withdraw from the mind and the senses and to switchon to the positive pole <strong>of</strong> existence then everything is safe sincethe same man transmits light. When the reaction is suspendedyou will find your real nature and real shape <strong>of</strong> things (Swaroopa).This is what the third Aphorism says.Before you are able to stop the negative activity, youshould know the types <strong>of</strong> reactions that are taking place in youhitherto.
