That is what the minddoes when you try to do something in order to escape from thecomplications you have.When once you make an attempt for a total surrenderyou will find Him ready to receive you. The only requisite isthat the surrender should be total and it should include yourself,everything with you. You cannot cross the customs gate withyour baggage and suitcase. You are allowed only when youcross the gate as ‘what you are’ and not with what you have. Itis easy for an elephant to pass through the eye of a needle thanto cross the doorway of surrender with what you have. Thecustoms gate between the land of the humans and land of theLord is there for you to cross. The children of God find it verystrict. If you try to take even a single idea with you (let it be

The sky appears inthe shape of the window you look through. But for the shapeof the window there is nothing there in the sky. The windowexists to your eye and not to the sky that is visible. Whenyour mind and senses are absorbed in the Lord, you willknow that He is beyond time. The train timings exist withthe Railway department and the passengers. To the durationof the day there is nothing like the train timing.“The Lord-consciousness in you is the Master ofall Masters” says Patanjali. “He is the Guru of Gurus”. Ifwe learn something from one of the Masters, he might haveknown it from his Master. Here the Master is the Masterhoodin all the three persons but the hood is only the body of theMaster. When a boy reads and tries to understand theArchimedes Principle, he may think for a moment, wherefromArchimedes could know it?” Many of us do not get thequestion since many minds are second-rate. One boy askedanother, “wherefrom Archimedes could know the principle?”The answer is “From his Physics text Book”. This is thesignature of a second-rate mind that belongs to the not-self.The truth is that Archimedes found his Master in his “Lordconsciousness”in the form of intuition.
