The ninth nature should receive us from the state ofthe not-self and lift us up from the influence of the three qualitiesinto the presence of the Lord. This process is called the Graceand it is the work of the ninth nature, the Virgin-mother. That iswhy it is said that the mother knows the child before the fatherknows. The tenth one, Narayana, is a boundless backgroundof the ninth nature. What the space unbound is to the space inthe house, the tenth one is to the ninth nature. The tenth oneexisted even when there was no creation.
