The ref<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>dustry <strong>in</strong> <strong>Australia</strong> produces a wide range of petroleum<br />
products, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g gasol<strong>in</strong>e, diesel oil, aviation turb<strong>in</strong>e fuel, fuel oil, and LPG.<br />
In 2014–15, <strong>Australia</strong>n ref<strong>in</strong>eries produced 30.6 gigalitres of marketable<br />
ref<strong>in</strong>ed petroleum products. Of this, automotive gasol<strong>in</strong>e and diesel fuel<br />
made up 79 per cent with a comb<strong>in</strong>ed production of 24.2 gigalitres.<br />
