Das House Collective umfasst gerade mal vier Hotels,
dennoch ist diese kleine Hotelgruppe wohl eine der
besten der Welt. Nach Häusern in Peking (The
Opposite House), Hongkong (The Upper House) und
Chengdu (The Temple House) hat die Gruppe nun
auch ein Hotel in Schanghai eröffnet: The Middle
House. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet: auf halbem Weg
zwischen dem Shopping-Wonderland von Jing’an und
dem historischen Viertel zwischen People’s Square
und der Uferpromenade The Bund. Das elegante und
sehr stylische Design des Hotels stammt von dem
Italiener Piero Lissoni, die Gästebetreuung ist, wie bei
allen Häusern des House Collective, großartig, das
Restaurant Sui Tang Li bietet herausragende Küche
und die Bar des Café Gray ist ein Schanghaier Hotspot.
Though the House Collective only includes four hotels,
this little hotel group may just be one of the best in
the world. Following hotels in Beijing (The Opposite
House), Hongkong (The Upper House) and Chengdu
(The Temple House), the group has now also launched
a hotel in Shanghai: The Middle House. The location is
excellent: half-way between the shopping wonderland
of Jing’an and the historic quarter between the
People’s Square and the waterfront promenade of the
Bund. The elegant and very stylish design of the hotel
was thought up by the Italian Piero Lissoni. Service is,
as with all of the hotels of the House Collective,
amazing. The restaurant Sui Tang Li provides
extraordinary creations and the bar of the Café Gray
has become a Shanghai hotspot.

The Retreat at the Blue Lagoon
Die Blaue Lagune ist eine der größten Attraktionen Islands: eine Wasserlandschaft, die aus einer heißen Quelle
gespeist wird. Konstante 38 Grad Celsius ist das Wasser warm, das aus 200 Metern Tiefe emporsteigt und das
außerdem auch noch recht gesund sein soll. Heiße Quellen gibt es auf Island zahlreiche. Doch keine ist so schön wie
die Blaue Lagune. Und weil sich die Blue Lagune auch noch ganz nahe bei Reykjavik und beim Flughafen Keflavik
befindet, ist sie sehr beliebt. Bisweilen kann es ziemlich eng werden.
Seit einem Jahr kann man die Blaue Lagune jedoch sehr exklusiv genießen. The Retreat at the Blue Lagoon heißt das
Luxusresort, das einen Teil der Blauen Lagune ausschließlich für seine Gäste zugänglich macht. Man wohnt in einem
sehr eleganten, minimalistisch gestalteten Hotel, besucht das 4.000 Quadratmeter große Spa, wo man sich zum
Beispiel mit den mineralreichen Elementen der Lagune seine Haut auf Vordermann bringen kann, und speist in einem
Restaurant, das eine raffinierte isländische Küche und einen gut sortierten Weinkeller bietet. Man kann das Retreat
auch als Tagesgast besuchen.
The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s biggest attractions: a water world fed by a geothermal hot spring that is always
38 degrees Celsius warm protrudes from a depth of 200 metres and – on top of all that – is also said to have various
health-promoting properties. There are, of course, too many hot springs in Iceland to count. But none of them is as
beautiful as the Blue Lagoon. And because the Blue Lagoon just so happens to be located very closely to Reykjavik and to
Keflavik Airport, it is also extremely popular. As a matter of fact, it can get pretty crowded in there. But since last year,
there has been a new, much more exclusive way to experience it. The Retreat at the Blue Lagoon is the name of the
luxury resort that has made one part of the Blue Lagoon exclusively accessible to its guests. You get to live in a very
elegant, minimalistic hotel, visit the 4,000 square-metre spa, where you can, for example, pamper your skin with the
mineral-rich elements in the lagoon and eat at a restaurant that offers clever Icelandic cuisine coupled with a wellassorted
wine cellar. You can also visit the retreat as a day-guest.

Am 14. Dezember 2019 eröffnet der neue Robinson Club Cabo Verde auf der kapverdischen Insel Sal. Die Kapverden
sind eine Inselgruppe vor der Westküste Afrikas und sie sind ein Urlaubsparadies: endlose Traumstrände,
durchschnittlich 350 Sonnentage pro Jahr und türkisblaues Meerwasser. So ist der neue Adults Only Club vor allem
für Wassersportbegeisterte ideal. Am acht Kilometer langen und 200 Meter breiten, feinkörnigen Sandstrand
können Gäste Kiten, Windsurfen, Segeln und Stand-Up-Paddeln. Sie können aber auch am Strand Fußball und
Beachvolleyball spielen. Und sich anschließend im Spa-Bereich regenerieren.
Oder sich im 12,5x25 Meter großen Hauptpool oder im Ruhepool abkühlen.

Verde is an island group off the western coast of Africa – and a real holiday paradise: endless dream-like beaches, an
average of 350 sunny days per year and turquoise-blue sea water. This makes the new Adults Only Club, for example,
ideal for water sports fans. Head over to the eight-kilometre-long and 200-metre-wide fine-grain sand beach for some
kiting, windsurfing, sailing and stand-up paddle-boarding. But you can also play football and beach volleyball on the
beach. And then head over to the spa to recover. Or cool down in the 12.5x25-metre main pool or in the relaxation pool.
