In this chapter, we have limited our focus to the kind of instructional<br />

text that works between subject-specific material to support learning.<br />

While we hope that the principles suggested to you will continue to be<br />

blended, or online) <strong>and</strong> ever-changing technological <strong>and</strong> digital<br />

contexts, mean that what learners find appealing <strong>and</strong> supportive will<br />

change. We encourage you to pay attention to the role of instructional<br />
