Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology; Master of Science in<br />
Health Services Administration<br />
I am currently an Assistant Professor and the Program Chair of the<br />
Radiologic Technology Department of Holy Angel University,<br />
Angeles City, Philippines. Serving in different capacities within the<br />
University, I am also the department’s Outcomes-Based Education<br />
Facilitator, Radiation Protection Officer of the School’s Educational<br />
X-ray Laboratory, and the adviser of the Association of Radiologic<br />
Technology Students. In 2013, I was chosen as one of the members<br />
of the Regional Quality Assessment Team of the Commission on<br />
Higher Education Regional Office III for the Radiologic Technology Program who evaluates<br />
program applications of higher educational institutions for government recognition. In 2021,<br />
I am inducted as one of the new Ambassadors of the World Radiography Educational Trust<br />
Foundation, joining a team of seasoned professionals in furthering the radiography, radiologic<br />
technology, and radiation therapy education. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in<br />
Radiologic Technology and Master of Science in Health Services Administration, a trained<br />
Radiation Protection Officer, and an active member of various professional practice<br />
organizations and in the academe. I have been teaching and serving the program for 9 years<br />
now and had a 5-year clinical experience in a tertiary hospital.<br />
As an advocate in improving the Radiologic Technology education in our locale, it is a great<br />
honor for me to share my experience in our journey to cope with the pandemic-challenged<br />
education to better serve and equip future professionals, the students, through my humble<br />
contribution to the <strong>ISRRT</strong> E-<strong>book</strong>.<br />
Krista Dawdy<br />
Medical Radiation Technology (Radiation Therapy); Bachelor of<br />
Science with Honours (Health Sciences); Masters in Radiotherapy<br />
and Oncology<br />
I am currently working as the Clinical Educator for radiation therapy<br />
at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto<br />
Canada with an academic appointment as Instructor in the Division<br />
of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto. I am continually<br />
engaged in staff and student education. I also enjoy being engaged<br />
in educational research initiatives with my most recent<br />
participation as co-chair of a leadership workshop in cancer<br />
education. I am very passionate about learning and continuing<br />
professional development, with publications in both patient and staff education and was most<br />
recently awarded the Excellence in Clinical Education from the University of Toronto. As a<br />
