Joint Reserve Female of the year - Cloone Hilda

Northern Ireland was the venue for the British

Simmental Cattle Society’s Young Members National

Stockjudging Competition. First stop was a visit to the

Kilbride herd of the Robson family. Next was our annual

charity barbeque in aid of Air Ambulance NI. This was a

special night for the club as it was in memory of the late

Thelma Gorman. We raised a staggering £34, 000. A

special thanks to everyone involved. Following this was

the National Stockjudging, hosted by the Hiltonstown

herd of Richard Rodgers and family. It was a great day,

with very impressive stock to be seen. Northern Ireland

young members dominated the results leader board with

Alice Stubbs from Fermanagh claiming the best overall

judge. Runner up was Andrew Clarke from Armagh. Junior

team was won by Johnny and Gary McCammond from

Antrim, and second place was Molly Bradley from Armagh

and Cara Moore from Omagh. Senior team was won by

Andrew and Zara Clarke from Armagh. Second place was

Heather Duff and Harry Houldey from Scotland. Junior

individual was won by Molly Bradley. In second place was

Johnny McCammond. Senior individual was won by Alice

Stubbs, and in second place was Andrew Clarke. A massive

thank you to Richard, Sandra and family.
