HERD VISIT – MANOR
PARK
In July over 60 of our
members travelled to Clive
Houldey and family’s herd
near Dumfries.
Clive runs over 200 head
of Simmentals and has
featured prominently as
both a buyer and seller of
top priced bulls.
Members toured the
herd, split between two
farms, and a stockjudging
competition where £320 was
raised for the Doddie Weir
foundation.
SHOW AND SALE STORE CATTLE
The Club sponsored two more sales this year to promote
Simmentals as store sales.
